Emily is an estate planning and collaborative family law attorney and mediator. She helps keep families out of court by helping them resolve disputes in a respectful and non-adversarial fashion. Her nonprofit work has focused on organizational development and fundraising, including serving as a volunteer leader for legal, arts, and environmental organizations. Emily is also a professional fundraising executive, spending a decade leading the Oakland Children’s Hospital and Research Center planned giving foundation and serving as the Director of Advancement at the Athenian School in Danville, California. She is the principal of Third Force Consulting, a firm that works with non-profits on strategic planning and development strategies and is a founder and Executive Director of American Innings, non-profit that presents American history through the eyes of baseball.
