Join Us for the 30 Days of Gratitude Giving Challenge!

Now more than ever, older adults need our help to lift their voices, stay connected, and reclaim their own lives. In the spirit of giving, we are excited to announce the launch of our 30 Days of Gratitude Giving Challenge starting November 1st. This month we hope to come together with you to share our gratitude for all the things we’ve accomplished while also looking ahead to how we can expand our reach even further. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by November 30th. Click the “Donate” button at the top of the page or type EmpoweredAging.org/Donate in your browser to start giving today.

Awareness, Prevention, and Innovation in a New Era of Care

Calling all eldercare industry professionals! June 17, 2021, kicks off our second year of the Lunch and Learn program. That’s right, we’ve got another full year of free webinars with new speakers, new insights, and endless resources. Our work to prevent and combat abuse and neglect in this new era of care is just getting started. So, please mark your calendars for the third Thursday of every month, and let’s continue to network and enhance the services we provide.

Serving the Bay Area and Beyond

In Contra Costa, we started with just a few government grants, a single staff person, and a lot of determination. Now, nearly 50 years later, we have a team of 45, including trained volunteers with boots on the ground standing up for thousands of seniors in our region — Contra Costa, Solano, and Alameda Counties.
