Training a New Generation of Advocates
Students want their internships to be meaningful experiences where they can develop important skills and positively impact the lives of those they serve. As a student pursuing a Masters of Social Work, field education is critical, allowing you to take what you are learning in the classroom and applying it directly to patients in need.
With a mission to ignite interest in emerging social workers in a career working with older adults, Empowered Aging has designed a Masters of Social Work internship program that provides full training and hands-on experience advocating for older adults and adults with disabilities.
Over the years, our program has distinguished itself as a unique learning opportunity hailed for its professionalism, diversity, and ability to bring a new language and perspective to the elder care industry.
If you’re looking to build your resume, enhance your advocacy skills, and become a job-ready applicant to help ease the shortage of tomorrow’s elder care workforce, then we want to hear from you!
