Michelle Haman is a Bay Area native. She received a Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University and has many years of experience in Operations and Human Resources. While Michelle has gained her experience in the “for-profit” arena, she is extremely passionate about advocating for the elderly community. Michelle assisted in the end of life care for her grandparents and witnessed not only the medical and mental health challenges, but also the financial and legal challenges that many seniors and their families endure during this stage of life.

In addition to her work at Empowered Aging, Michelle is a certified make-up artist and spends some of her weekends completing make-up for brides on their wedding day and other special occasions.

When Michelle is not working, she takes pleasure in traveling the world, singing, and enjoying live music.
