Empowerment, Advocacy, Passion.
Meet the Force That’s Making a Difference for a Movement of Elder and Dependent Adults.
Meet Nicole Howell, the Executive Director of Empower Aging. For over a decade, she has worked in the non-profit community, with a majority of those years fighting for the rights and dignity of our senior communities. Nicole has been driving systemic cultural shifts throughout her career, inspiring cross-sector collaboration, resolving service gaps, and forging strategic partnerships that enable older adults across California to thrive.
At Empowered Aging, Nicole leads a team of people across multiple counties committed to all older adults and empowering families. This includes working with 29,000 residents in long-term care and community-based programs. Together as one, Nicole and her team educate, defend, support, and strive for change through legislative and systems work so that seniors can age with dignity and respect they deserve today, but also so we all can age with the dignity and respect we deserve tomorrow.
Do you need a speaker to shed light on the issues facing our seniors? To unearth the driving force of elder advocacy and elder justice in our area? Nicole and her team have had the opportunity to speak at dozens of organizations and various media outlets throughout the greater Bay Area and country. We would love to contribute and empower your audience too. Sharing what we know fuels our passion to keep growing, giving, and fighting for our elders every single day. Please send us a message. We would love to discuss your needs and your event.
