At Stanford Healthcare, Jakaria serves as a Principal Improvement Consultant. Her book of business includes supporting teams with improvement efforts in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings, coaching improvement projects, teaching improvement systems and tactics, and serving as a thought partner to healthcare leaders. Her strategic lens is utilized often through the facilitation of not only planning, goal setting, and performance management, but also with change management, teaming, and the development of leaders.
Prior to joining Stanford Health Care, Jakaria spent over 10 years at Kaiser Permanente transforming operations in both clinical and operational spaces driving increased quality and efficiency through improvement impacting the mission of high-quality affordable health care. At Kaiser Permanente and in the community (Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, The Links Incorporated, Jack and Jill of America, and other organizations), Jakaria has been a force driving outcomes through her impact in leadership roles, mentoring, and setting an environment ripe with a desire to collaborate and achieve.
With 20+ years of experience in coaching executives, athletes, emerging individuals, teams, and teaching improvement, Jakaria has found herself to be energized by the possibility of growth (be it people, teams, systems, or processes).
