After several years of retirement after a career as a nurse , Susan began volunteering. First, she began volunteering through her church, going to senior care centers and local hospitals. Wanting to expand her horizons she applied for and was appointed to the Area Council on Aging. As chairperson of the Health Work Group, she invited OSCC to come and speak with the group. She was hooked and was determined to support the work of OSCC through board service. Susan looks forward to advocating for resident of long-term care.
