Kiev Harris is a Bay Area native who comes to Empowered Aging with more than 12 years of social service work throughout the region. Throughout his years of experience, he has served in multiple capacities. Kiev has worked as a case manager for homeless families, providing them with resources and hope for stability. He also worked as an intensive care coordinator for adolescent youth and as an advocate for the reentry population and the sexually exploited.
Most recently, he worked as a benefits specialist for the elderly, which sparked his interest in advocacy for the elderly population. He believes that one conversation, one smile, and one handshake can impact one’s life more than we may know and intentionally devotes his time and effort to pouring back into his community.
When Kiev is not advocating, he enjoys being a father, attending church service, and buying/selling real estate.
