Jenny comes to Empowered Aging with over six years of experience working with adults and aging adults with developmental disabilities.
During her tenure at the Adaptive Learning Center, Jenny proudly served as a member of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) Workforce Committee Advocating at the state and local levels through efforts and initiatives that focused on client rights, stabilizing the DSP workforce and equitable compensation, and adequate training and resources for the daily services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.
In a previous role, she was a Regional Supervisor for Wells Fargo Dealer Services where she led a team with integrity and created an environment where they felt valued and supported.
In addition, and due to her commitment in supporting underserved populations, Jenny served as a volunteer hospice caregiver and in volunteer roles supporting Meals on Wheels, Contra Costa Shelter Inc, and STAND For Families Free of Violence.
Jenny is passionate about advocating for our most vulnerable populations and being a voice for people who are often overlooked and underrepresented.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and creating unforgettable memories.
